On the mountaintop, Jesus shines with dazzling light while Moses, holding the tablets of the law, and Elijah, with his staff, stand on either side. A radiant centrepiece of glory revealed.
“And he was transfigured before them, and his face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.” — Matthew 17:2
From the Contemporary Sacred Luxury collection: cinematic black-and-gold portraits of biblical moments. The tablets and staff are artistic symbols identifying Moses and Elijah.
