Seen from just behind Moses’ shoulder, his staff is raised as towering walls of water stand on either side and the people of Israel walk through on dry ground. An immersive, cinematic view of deliverance.
“And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.” — Exodus 14:22
